Canal Narrowboat Holidays
A narrowboat holiday is a unique boating experience. Explore the historic routes once used to carry goods from town to town, and enjoy the countryside at a relaxed pace of about 4 miles per hour.
Travel through tunnels, over aqueducts and bridges, and explore the canalside attractions, interesting towns, restaurants, and inns. The locks which take the boat uphill or downhill are fascinating exercise. You can choose a route as leisurely or as energetic as you want, whether on a Ring or out and back to the start.
The narrowboats have all comforts in a boat about 6ft 10in (2m) wide - with fully equipped kitchens, heating, flush toilets, TV. Narrowboats come in lengths up to 70ft, and sleep 2 to 12 people.
