Designed for rivers, lakes, broader canals, and sheltered waters, cruiser boats and penichette barges vary in size and luxury. Sleeping from 2 to 12 people, they offer varied accommodation.

Some may provide all en-suite bedrooms, others may also have convertible settee beds in the main saloon cabin. All offer equipped kitchen, toilet(s) and shower(s), heating. Extra facilities may include colour TVs, microwave oven, dishwasher, air conditioning.

Some boats have two steering positions, inside and on deck. There may be spacious deck areas for eating, relaxing, or just admiring the scenery. Cruising on the waterways you can stop at places of interest or refreshment. Perhaps take a small boat and try your hand at fishing. Visit villages and small towns, and enjoy the country.
